Available Programs - How do I set up the list of programs available
to run on the workstation?
In the Control Panel of CL Server, click on 'Available programs'. There you can specify programs' names and paths to their
exe files. As soon as you make any changes, the list of
programs will be transmitted to all client machines within 10
minutes. It is very convenient because you do not have to
configure each Client separately.

Change CL Server User -
How can I change the staff member logged on to CL Server?

CL Server's main screen (e.g. "-> Administrator").

Currency Settings - How do I change the currency sign?
By default Cyberleader uses the currency sign that is set in
the Windows Regional Settings (Windows Control Panel -> Regional
Settings) on the computer where CL Server is installed. If you want to change it,
on the Control Panel of CL Server click on 'Pricing policy' and
there on 'Other settings.' Click on the tab 'Currency and Rounding' and change the currency. As soon as you do it, CL Clients will automatically receive the
new currency sign setting.

Dynamic IP Address on the Server
Can I Use a Dynamic IP Address?
Yes, you can. If your network uses a Dynamic IP, then all you need to do is the
following:
During the installation of CL Clients, enter the Network Name of the
computer with CL Server instead of
its IP.

Firewall - How can I make my firewall
compatible with Cyberleader?
If you are running any type of firewall software, you need to allow Cyberleader to communicate through the firewall.
In case your firewall requires creating port based filters,
CL Server uses 12997, 12998, and 12999 TCP/IP ports. CL Clients use TCP/IP ports
automatically assigned by Windows.

Parental
Control - Does your software have this feature?
No, but you can use an independent parental control software
like Net
Nanny. After you install that software, go to CL
Control Panel -> Available Programs and add it to the 'Automatic Startup' category.
Please note: we have no affiliation with BioNet Systems, the developer of Net
Nanny.

Power Button - Power button related
issues.
We recommended disabling the power button to make sure that
customers do not press it causing the computer to shut down, stand
by or hibernate.
To configure the power button options, go to the Windows Control Panel,
click
on 'Power Options' and select the 'Advanced' tab. You can do it
only in Windows 2000/XP.

Pricing Modes - Postpaid and Prepaid.
1) Postpaid mode - there are two ways of starting a session in this
mode:
a) the administrator simply locates an available computer in the
main Server's table, selects it and clicks on the 'Postpaid session' button. The
session either starts immediately or after a certain period of time
depending on the settings in 'Specify how to begin and end
sessions' screen that can be accessed from the CL Control Panel.
b) a customer clicks on 'Start a session' button and begins using
the computer. If you would like to hide this button, uncheck the
option 'Show start session button' under 'Appearance of CL Client'
in the CL Server's control panel.
2) Prepaid mode has three components:
a) Prepaid sessions - administrator starts a prepaid session for a desired
period of time. This is an extremely easy operation.
b) Timecodes - they are generated in CL Server
and sold. Customers can then enter timecodes on computers and start using
them. Once the time is used up, CL Client ends the session and displays
the Protection mask. If a user ends a session and still has remaining time
on the timecode, he or she will be able to use it during the next visit.
c) Prepaid Accounts - they are
generated in CL Server and sold just like timecodes. The difference is
that prepaid accounts have money on them instead of time. It has the
following benefits:
• You can have different rates for different periods of the
day/week.
• You can increase/decrease prices after an account is sold.
A prepaid account has a Login & Password. A timecode has only a Login.
In the 'Pricing policy' screen,
you can specify rates for everything except timecodes, which
have their own pricing window.

Registration Code - How long does it take?

automatically added to the subtotal of each receipt.

System
Security Settings - Where do I configure the security
settings?
In the Control Panel of CL Server on the tab 'Internet Explorer and MSN
Messenger settings', you can configure the settings of IE and MSN
for client workstations. The rest of the security options are
located on the tab 'CL Client
settings'.
Note: Security settings in Cyberleader apply only to client
workstations and do not affect the computer where CL Server is
installed.
If you would like to prevent your customers from installing new
programs, change the type of the Windows user account where CL
Client is installed to 'Limited account'. By default this user
account has admin rights. You can make this change in Windows
Control Panel by clicking on User Accounts.
If you decide to uninstall the software,
all settings will be changed back to their original state.

Time
Change - Can I change system time or date while CL is running?
You can do this ONLY when there are no current sessions, and
nobody is using a timecode or a prepaid account.
Upgrade a License - What are the
rates?
If you would like to add workstations to your license, the charge
will be equal to the number of additional clients multiplied by $15.
For example, an upgrade from 5 to 10 Clients costs 5 X $15 = $75.
Please contact us for instructions on how to upgrade your license
at sales@cyberleader.net.
